Product Description

Agatha Christie's most exotic murder mystery, reissued with a striking new cover designed to appeal to the latest generation of Agatha Christie fans and book lovers. The tranquillity of a cruise along the Nile is shattered by the discovery that Linnet Ridgeway has been shot through the head. She was young, stylish and beautiful, a girl who had everything -- until she lost her life. Hercule Poirot recalls an earlier outburst by a fellow passenger: 'I'd like to put my dear little pistol against her head and just press the trigger.' Yet in this exotic setting' nothing is ever quite what it seems!

First Class5
Having watched Poirot on TV many years ago, I have now the patience and discipline to sit down and read a novel. Which crime novel did I start with? One of the most famous of course. I found this novel to be very good and very enjoyable. I've always been fascinated by Egypt and the fashions of the first half of the 20th Century. This novel satisfies on many levels.

One of Christie's greatest!5
Death On the Nile was the first Agatha Christie book I read and I immediately became a fan. Christie shows a love for Egyptian culture and history and you'll never be able to work out the solution- it's surprising yet at the same time a convincing piece of work.

If you haven't read Christie before, this is a good book to start you off as it boasts Poirot's (and Christie's) unique genius.

Fiendish puzzle, set on a Nile cruise.4
Poirot again the detective, as a strange group assemble for a Nile cruise. There are whole hosts of plot twist, several subplots and a large number of red-herrings? Top notch Christie and a nightmare to solve.
