Do not work in my diesel car - USE AT OWN RISK!
I was sceptical about the claims made for various 'premium fuels' with special detergents added to clean the engine, feeling that unscrupulous multinationals will do anything to make us to spend more on what is basically a standardized product.
This is endorsed not just by Top Gear's denim-clad buffoon, hippie and midget -- but by The Stig himself -- so I reluctantly decided to try it.
I had to shave a few bits off the side, to get it to fit, but these were not wasted, but added first into the tank. Then I tied the rope part on to the petrol filler cap and lowered it in.
After a few miles driving, I noticed a pleasant clean smell, and a small improvement in power. However I broke down a few miles later. The AA repair man had not seen this product before, and told me that it might not be suitable for Volkswagen diesel engines.
I strongly suggest to contact your car manufacturer, before fitting this product yourself.
