This is a family classic to read, reread and treasure.
Foreman's illustrations are reknown and always rewarding, but this book which he has also written is a magical peek into the connection we all have with our pasts and our futures. A girl uses a special box, carved 250 years earlier, to travels back and glimpse past generations of her family. The importance of this theme has been mastered brilliantly, and the book will be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
