This book is beautiful
This is the most special present you can buy for someone you love... it convays the deep love God has for us in a way that little children and adults alike can relate too. It is so sweet it made me cry. The pictures are childlike and inocent it is written with such gentleness... everyone should read it.

I'm glad someone thinks I'm wonderful
Agree with other reviewer. Ordered this two days ago as a gift for my friend's children. I took the time to read it through when it came and am reordering it now for another friend and her family. Wondering who else to buy it for because it would make a fab gift for many different friends and occasions. I'm a bit of a logical science girl and don't really do treacly, which it was slightly, but maybe that's what I need occasionally (yes, tears came to my eyes). It's not a 'story' as such, it's more of a 'meander through how God shows us that he thinks we're wonderful' with fab little illustrations. The book is beautifully presented and isn't just a children's book but is for anybody who wants to take the time and to hear what it's saying. I just hope it gets well used and well worn and doesn't now just sit on the shelf. That would be a real shame.

Just for info - I expected it to be bigger when it came. It's 13cm x 16cm so is quite pocket sized, but I expect perfect for little and bigger hands.

Too chocolate boxy
I bought this book after reading the first 2 excellent reviews and I was really disappointed. It was far too chocolate boxy and soft. It had sayings like "If God had a refridgerator your photo would be on it" and "If God had a wallet your picture would be in it" I wanted to get a christmas present for my 2 year old god daughter and her sisters and I will now get something that still conveys the same meaning but is a little less saccharine.
