Sound foundations
This is an essential resource book to have for any type of English language training. It contains a CD, with clear IP pronunciation examples. I have found it particularly useful to learn the IP phonemic script, strong forms and weak forms, connected speech etc. It contains the essential information that I needed to learn and complete my TESOL teaching course. It can be a little technical at times, but has an easy quick index reference guide at the back which refers to any particular area of phonology you are looking for.
Very useful
I found this book extremely useful for learning phonetic script (IPA) for English. It also explains how the mouth makes different sounds. A really good companion for learning more about pronunciation in English. Quite technical but it is clearly explained.
