Manufacturer's Description
A game based on the popular TV show. You choose the cards... 'A vowel please, a consonant, another consonant.' The Countdown sound module is turned on and you've got 30 seconds to find the longest word from the cards. Round two is the 'Numbers Game' can you match Carol Voderman's mathmetical wizardry. In the final round you have 30 seconds to solve the "Conundrum".

Not great
I got this game last year after buying the last board game and I have to say as much as this one is quite good, I prefer the older one. If you can get your hands on either this one or the 1997/1993 releases, pick one of them, for both their fun and centimental values.
The game is basically all cards and a sound module, which is a bit of a let down, but still worth buying if your a countdown fan. Also try and get your hands on the clock accessory, which, as far as I know, is not included in this particular board game.
Spiffing
this countdown board game is quality and a bundle of fun. any countdown lover enuthiast or freak have a fantastic time challenging friends and family. Overall spiffing!!!
