Editorial Reviews
From the Label
The CD features specially recorded "child friendly" versions of all the old classic Christmas tunes--from "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" to "Sleigh Ride" and "Frosty The Snowman"--they’re all here! Also there’s a selection of favourite Christmas Carols, again all recorded in a "child friendly" fashion! The DVD is also jam-packed with festive songs, dancing and fun things to do!

The 'Best' Christmas Album
This is the best child friendly album I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. It is exceptionally good at teaching children the words to popular Christmas carols and Christmas songs. The children in the actions part of the dvd are a delight, particularly the young boy singing 'all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth'. He is obviously a star in the making!!!
Childrens Christmas Songs at its best.
Now having spent the last year listening to Balamory and Bob the Builders hits on my CD in the car. I was hoping for a change at Christmas and came across this CD (and DVD) for the car. Well it was just what the kids wanted a sing along to famous Christmas songs. The DVD is also very good fun and keeps the kids amused for ages.
Better than having the kids moaning when you want to play your Christmas classics as you get the songs and they get a more kiddy friendly versions.
I would ditch the dvd if he didn't like it so much
Living abroad, I wanted to make sure that our son wouldn't miss out on all the Christmas build up that we have in the UK (carols etc) so I bought this CD/DVD. The CD compilation is very festive and quite fun to have on in the car or even in the lounge sometimes, I could have done without a few of the more "poppy" Christmas songs that remind me more of a bad shopping day on the run up to Christmas or even November... (Slade style etc)
I found the DVD to be of exceedingly low quality. It has a very "home video" feel about it particularly in the action songs which are uninspired to say the least - I find myself prancing around our lounge with much more vigour that the lady on the vid or the children who seem very half hearted about this whole Christmas thing! Also, in the game part, the words chop off making the games impossible to do (even for an adult) The idea is that you have counting games, colours etc but the instructions cannot be heard so this part is not accessible at all.
All in all, I am glad I bought it because our son is loving some of the songs (frosty the snowman and when santa got stuck up the chimney in particular)but the DVD might just have to go missing...
