Anyone who seeks out a Steven Seagal movie has certain expectations: Bone-crunchingly brutal martial arts action; spiritual or ecological wisdom uttered in Seagal's hoarse monotone; and one long relentless scowl. Flight of Fury fails to deliver on all counts. Seagal plays an ex-military guy who's the only man who can retrieve a stolen stealth fighter. So he goes to Afghanistan, where he teams up with a sexy agent of some kind (Ciera Payton, making her cinematic debut) to shoot a lot of Afghan mercenaries and fly away. The only plausible explanation for this movie's existence is that Seagal and his producers bought some stock footage of jet fighters and decided to build a story around it. The action scenes are murky, brief, and edited to compensate for Seagal's increasing bulk. The rote dialogue--co-written by Seagal--is recycled from a dozen other action movies. And Seagal can't even muster the energy to frown, let alone scowl. This inert lump of a movie is the latest in a series of clumsy, incompetent, straight-to-video clunkers from Seagal, who is cynically squeezing every dollar he can out of his long-suffering fanbase. --Bret Fetzer

DVD Description
John Sands is a secret operative used by the United States Air Force for clandestine operations that are too sensitive for the regular military. Sands gets wrongly imprisoned by his own countrymen and scheduled for a chemical wipe of his memories. Feeling betrayed by his Agency, John escapes the hi-tech detention center and plans to assimilate into society. Unfortunately, the Air Force has other plans for him. A top secret stealth fighter plane has been hijacked and Sands is the only man capable of getting it back.

Synopsis

ranks high in his worst movies
This movie is dubbed quite often, and he uses stunt doubles throughout the film: Well thats not all true i think he hits a guy in the back of the head and the rest is stunt doubles.

I am a seagal fan but this is one of his worst movies.

Flight of Fury
The film begins with a spectacular escape from a military detention centre, whilst on the run(Seagal)prevents an out of town store robbery and then the limpness of the film starts having done some great stunts to bruntally halt the robbery he is casually led to local police's car when they arrive and sits in the back, mmmmmm really limp, the authentisity then of the whole plot along with the acting is very wooden, do yourself a favour and spare yourself over an hour and a half of poor acting and story line.

A poor film that should never have been made 0/10!

After reading the quote i decided to hired the film. 4/5 stars seemed good enough.

I'd only wished i had waited for more feedback before renting on the grounds of just 1 persons point of view.

I have just seen the film, & being a big Seagal Fan,
I've assumed that this movie will be o.k, i mean it had Segal in it.
Boy was i wrong, I never thought the movie would turn out to be poor.

I full agree with Mr D MacArthur quote above and seeing the film
would not recommend watching it or waste my time writing
a detailed review on what the film is about.

My advise would be to avoid this film. PLEASE!

My recomendations would be to rent a film called
:Undisputed 2: this film is GREAT! 4 out of 5 !
Good Action : Good Story : Good Acting : Good Sound & Picture!
All most a perfect film to seat back and enjoy.
