Synopsis
Set in the underwater town of Bikini Bottom, Nickelodeon's popular animated series SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS follows the misadventures of a kind-hearted sea sponge and his fishy pals Patrick, Squidward, Mr Krabs, and Sandy. This absorbing collection squeezes in no less than seven fun-drenched episodes: ‘All That Glitters’, ‘Whale Of A Birthday’, ‘Once Bitten’, ‘Chimps Ahoy’, ‘Bummer Vacation’, ‘Wigstruck’, and ‘That's No Lady’.

another dvd containing episodes of spongebob squarepants, the popular cartoon about the cheerful fry cook sponge from the undersea town of bikini bottom.

the disc contains seven episodes, all running for eleven minutes. the opening credits of the show appear at the start of these, and then afterwards you just get the opening credits for each story, without any of the end credits.

the disc begins with a couple of trailers, but you can skip past them if needs be.

you can watch it in the following languages:

english dutch french german portugese.

but there are no subtitles.

the episodes are as follows:

all that glitters: sponegbob has to get a new spatula when his old one breaks but the new one isn't quite as good in a few ways. this ends slightly abruptly and is a bit predictable but it has enough laughs to get by,

whale of a birthday: mr krabs entrusts sponegbob in buying presents for his daughters sixttenth birthday party. will his miserliness spoil her birthay yet again or will spongebob save the day? pretty funny and with some amusing takes on teen culture.

once bitten: squidward causes panic when he thinks that being bitten by spongebob's snail has given him a diseasse. best one on the disc, a very funny look at how paranoia can spread.

chimps ahoy: sandy's bosses will force her to leave bikini bottom unless she comes up with a new invention. can spongebob save the day? some inspired moments and one that's not as predictable as you may think.

bummer vacation: spongebob has to take time off work but is desperate to get back. like all that glitters his obession is played up to great degrees for funny comedy. but this ends a bit abruptly.

wigstruck: spongebob finds a wig and when he starts to wear it is oblivious to the scorn of the townsfolk. plenty of amusing moments result and a nicely ironic ending.

that's no lady: cleverly contrived circumstances force patrick to pretned to be a lady. mr krabs and squidward take a shine to him. some very funny comedy ensues with a very funny ending.

not quite the best of these dvds, but more than enough entertainment to keep spongebob fans of all ages happy.
