Clean teeth but disappointed
Having used Philips electric toothbrushes for many years I was initially very pleased with this new design Sonicare brush. As to the teeth cleaning ability it is excellent. The design, however, is flawed. I have had two of these and both have broken within three months of normal use. The second provided under warranty has developed exactly the same fault as the first.

The coupling of the vibrating pin to the brush head is too fragile.

This is very disappointing, but renders the item useless and I cannot recommend it to anyone. The older larger version was excellent and still works! The NiMH battery is not as good as the new Li-ion and no longer hold a charge for long.

Disappointing
This brush was excellent while it was working, but - as happened to previous reviewers - it died after one year. However, as it was under 2-year warranty, Philips provided a replacement in about a week with no quibbling.

Lasted 12 Months
Wow what can I say, my teeth have never felt so clean however... 12 months on and the same problem as a previous review, the coupling feels like it has sheared away inside the unit and I now have a toothbrush that cost me an average of £11 a month seeing as it only lasted 12 months. I will be going back to Braun.
