	The Libertine [DVD] [2005] Buy used from: £2.09 I'm a massive Depp fan but not only is this his best film, but everyone who was involved best film too! Powerful, dramatic and even funny at times. Also very well filmed! My fave film!
	Downfall (2 Disc Edition) [2005] [DVD] [2004] Buy new: £4.48 / Used from: £4.00 My fave war film of all time absolutely stunning. I cannot praise this film enough, the sheer hopelessness of the situation drags you in with them, Bruno Ganz is amazing as Hitler.
	Fight Club [1999] [DVD] Buy new: £4.48 / Used from: £2.50 Needs no intro really. A well directed film with fantastic dialogue.
	American History X [DVD] [1999] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.39 Very powerful and Norton's best performance. Also, one of very few films that looks at race relations from all angles.
	American Beauty [DVD] [2000] Buy new: £4.68 / Used from: £2.00 Fantastic showing of the collapse of an everyday suburban family.
	Halloween [1978] [DVD] Buy new: £2.98 / Used from: £1.19 The bench mark for all slashers to aspire to be like, cost next to nothing to make but created one of the the most atmospheric Horrors ever made. The definitive slasher.
	Black Christmas [1974] [DVD] Buy new: £10.48 / Used from: £4.99 Before Halloween was this little gem, its up for debate which is better but be warned if you are easily freaked do not watch this in your house alone.Definately run outside if the phone goes after lol
	Shaun Of The Dead [DVD] [2004] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £1.35 Very funny take on the zombie genre, watched it a million times still find it funny.
	A Night To Remember / The Making Of A Night To Remember [DVD] [1958] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.73 Forget Titanic, its a complete rip-off of this classic film - only this film gets straight down to business pretty quick and also used eye witness interviews to recreate an accurate portrayal of event
	Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV - Unrated Director's Cut [DVD] [2000] [US Import] Buy used from: £15.95 Have to put a traashy troma flick in there and this is as good as it gets. A great film to watch with a few mates round, just dont take it seriously - the makers didnt :-)
	The Tripper [DVD] [2006] Buy new: £4.58 / Used from: £1.45 A good directing debut by Arquette, its a good shot at the slsher market with some very comic moments.
	Interview With The Vampire -- Special Edition [DVD] [1995] Buy new: £2.98 / Used from: £2.89 My fave vampire film, don't often like films with Cruise but he really does well here. Has everything that you could ask for in a vampire film and does it with a touch of class.
	The Crow : Special Edition [DVD] [1994] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.45 My fave graphic novel and once favourite film, though still one of. This really should be compulsive viewing. Makes you appreciate what you have and shows how quickly it can end.
	Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (Single Disc Edition) [DVD] [2003] Buy new: £4.88 / Used from: £0.01 Was never really a Crowe fan until I saw this, great performance and a great film.
	Seven Samurai [1954] [DVD] Buy new: £7.98 / Used from: £8.99 This film has everything and the bench mark for film making in general. 3 hours long, BW, in Japanese with subtitles yet not one second do you get bored. Amazing. Kurosowa at his best.
	Akira [DVD] [1988] by Akira Buy used from: £13.49 What a film! Made in the 80s but doesn't look out of place now with great charachters and animation and a fantastic story.
	The Big Lebowski (Special Edition) [DVD] [1998] Buy new: £3.97 / Used from: £2.25 This film is just in a class of its own! One of the funniest films I've ever seen.
	Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas [DVD] [1998] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £1.95 Another film in its own league! You couldn't get two actors better suited to play these two roles!
