Don't expect instant results
After reading reviews of this i decided to buy it in March, in the hope that it would somewhat resemble a tree come christmas.
After a few weeks i began to loose faith fearing that i had killed a plant easy enough for children to care for. But patience payed off as now i have little green shoots poking out of the pot.
Still nothing like a tree,but it'll do for me.

Please grow your own!!
I got this for my husband for Christmas as I hate cutting down trees every year! We have planted our seeds, I was advised by the seller that his took several months to germinate so if you buy this don't expect to have a little tree very quickly!
I would thoroughly recommend this product(and the enormously helpful seller!). On a personal level i recommend it because it takes at least 15 years for a tree to grow to a decent size. We then cut it and enjoy it for approx. three weeks and then shred it. Not a very balanced process! Not to mention the mini eco system of bugs we destroy when we drag it into our homes and zap them with our central heating!
This toy allows us to follow our tree over the fifteen years and control its growth without having to kill it. It also becomes part of the family, what value for money! Even if you don't agree with the eco blah blah you can still enjoy this toy for the festive tradition of bringing the tree in every year. Incidentally you can control the shape and height of the tree so it is grown personally for your requirements!
