Wiccan and Proud but......2
Oh dear not at all what I expected. I am Wiccan and have read many books on the subject of Paganism and have always felt the authors have been in touch with reality and had their feet firmly planted in this modern world. If this was the first book I had read on Wiccan belief I would be turning away from it in fear thinking it was all 'speaking' with Faries and spirits with wings, not the wonderful fulfilling earth centered belief it is.

a delight5
As a keen student of paganism, wicca et al it was a delight to find such a warm, detailed yet totally unintimidating book on the wiccan way. It's written with a detailed knowlage of both wicca and history, and was a pleasure to read. And re-read! I'd recommend it to both the seasoned practitioner and the totally green novice. It's not for those who wish to be part of a coven, but for those who don't, and indeed for those who simply can't afford all the parafanalia that goes with coven work, it quite simply is a must. It covers everything - basically a how-to for beginners.
Read it!

wow5
i am a lone witch and many of the books about tell you about covens and rituals which need a few other like minded folk, how ever this book is aimed at the person looking to discover the trational path of the solo witch. it is an easy to understand language with no presure, you learn your own way and become personaly intune with the god and goddess. it is one of the best books i have ever read and would recomend it to any one new on the path
