Good fun better than i thought it'd be!
I bought this game to help me with my spanish studies. It has helped a lot and has great games and lots of useful lessons to help you pick up the language. The only problem is that most of the game is just teaching you words apposed to sentences. There are handy lessons that do but they are normally only involving one topic at a time.

To properly learn spanish from this i think you would need to sit down with a pen and paper and write out sentences and conversations to be able to work out how the language is put together. Its very different from english and things don't always translate perfectly. There is also the genderisation of most of the words to get used to.

But saying that, this game has been a big help to me and has helped me extend my knowledge. The game also has a great dictionary on it with a speech function so that you can hear how the words are supposed to be pronounced. There is also a common phrase section as well. So if you already know some spanish, for the money this is a great way to learn some more.

I played this before going to spain to brush up on how to ask for a beer etc but i'm completely hooked! The games are a great way of learning and retaining the language but like everything else you've got to keep it up. I would thoroughly recommend this to all ages.

I found this to be a very good way to start to learn Spanish. It is easy to go back over stuff previously taught. The lesson plans are really good, enabling you to go at your own pace. Being able to record your own voice is a really good way to start to perfect your spanish accent. Additionally there is the opportunity for more than one person to set their own profile in the game, so its good for all the family.
