Customer Reviews

Good useful guide4
Easy useful guide. Have picked out quite a few holiday spots. You do need to refer to the websites of specific camp sites for further detail as the book contains mainly advertisement blocks for each site, but a handy useful guide for the UK.

Useful4
This book gives basic information on the campsites it features and is easy to use. It has atlas pages at the back which is very useful for seeing where the campsites are and to help you decide where in the UK you want to go to. It has a lot of large adverts for more holiday park type sites. Once you find a campsite you like the sound of the book does provide contact or website details for further information. This book is great as an introduction to each campsite but you do need to follow up with a bit more research yourself. Would have like more in-depth information, but still a good book.

Unbiased, consistent format with useful features.5
Used AA guides for about 8 years now. This one, like previous editions, gives un-biased and accurate information (some guides seem to use entries provided by the parks themselves).

The information is provided in a consistent manner making comparisons between sites easy.

One useful piece of information other guides don't provide is the size of the site. Combined with the number of pitches this can give a useful indication to the "busyness" of the site.
