STIRLING MOSS TAKES US THROUGH HIS ENTIRE RACING CAREER
I am a huge fan of Stirling Moss, mind you I never saw him race during the period this book covers, only in more recent years in historic racing. This book is to celebrate his recent 80 th. birthday,it's his own comments on every race he did. What a driver and what a range of races from Grand Prix to rally to saloon cars to sports cars through hill trials you name it he did it and very successfully too.He is rightly named among the very best drivers there has ever been, read this and you'll very soon see how true that is.This is a very high quality book, full of fabulous photos in both colour and black/white.Every page, every race and every result good or bad is described even what caused his retirements. This is along with his wonderful book 'My Cars My Career' is an absolute must if you are in any way a true motor racing fan. This is I think the best motor sport book of 2009.Although Moss never won the world championship in Grand Prix he's among the best there has ever been and vastly better than many who have won it,and this fabulous book takes you through his astounding race career, totally unmissable!
Magnificent Moss
