Tearjerkers and Heartwarmers

Great 2CD compilation which mixes timeless classics like Louis Armstrong's 1968 hit `What a Wonderful World' with many of today's current artists like Only Men Aloud! (All By Myself), Faryl Smith (Amazing Grace) and Girls Aloud (I'll Stand by You).

The mood of the album leans heavily towards the romantically emotional, with a sprinkling of uplifting songs such as Russell Watson's `Nessun Dorma' and Katherine Jenkins' `Hallelujah' to raise the spirits and dry the eyes after the many tearjerkers like Elton's `Candle in the Wind' and Triniti's lovely version of Sting's `Fields of Gold'.

A lovely collection of music, helping to heal many a broken heart.

LOVELY ALBUM
Beautiful music and some great artists. Why people only associate this album with funerals I don't know, maybe I live on deaths door as I love most of the tracks on this album, to listen to any time! and to be performed by many of my favourite artists is fantastic. If it's not your taste in music, fine, you obviously would not purchase the album, so why leave such negative reviews on an album you have no intention on buying! Many people will love this music and wont feel the need to bury someone in order to listen to the album and enjoy it.

It does what it says on the tin
There are a few compilations of this type around just now and I rate this as one of the better ones.
Were I making a playlist for the iPod with a title suggesting melancholy, then many of these would appear.
Good songs, well performed. Glad I downloaded it.
