This excellent book reviews, in microscopic detail, all model and detail variations throughout the production history of the MGB, C and V8. It enabled me to focus on exactly what I wanted in, on and from my first purchase in terms of fittings, fixtures and engine details. Original MGB, C and V8
This book is stunning in terms of its detailed research, fascinating photographs and overall readability.
As an owner of a 1962 MGB (which is almost identical to the one on the cover of the book)I was wanting to learn exactly how 'original' my car was. From this book I was able to determine which components were original and those which weren't right down to paint and trim colours - even the toolkit!
The author works for the British Heritage Motor Trust and all of MG's production records from Abingdon are apprently held there which has enabled access to every single model change or slight modification over the 18 year production life.
If you own an MG, are considering buying an MG - or are merely a lover of classic vehicles this is an exceptional book and you should buy one.
