Customer Reviews
Samsung s2 500GB
When I plugged the drive in for the first time, it looked as if the drive was dead but I thought I would try a lead from another drive which brought it to life with a little blue light near to the lead on the drive.
I did ring Amazon but was told that they had sold out and may be a while before they had more in and as I had the lead I did not bother.
A slight problem is that the film which is preloaded on the drive stutters a little bit (slight stopping and starting during play back) which I think it may be due to being on a USB drive as I have 4 Gig of memory, a Gforce 9600 graphics card. The film is non transferable to be played from another drive although it can be transferred to another drive to store but then transferred back to the Samsung to be able to be played again.
The size of the drive is normal 2.5 which is handy to carry around and comes with a leather wallet type case although advertised as 500 Gig as normal it is slightly less due to formatting and also has 2 programs
1. Secret Zone which can put a new folder on your computer which can only be assessed with a password.
2. Backup program.
This gives you a total 465 gigs unless you reformat the drive.
