Only average....
Got this with Windows 7, Win 7 is certainly good and an improvement over Vista. Unfortunately this laptop chassis is now quite dated and performs only adequately in most areas. The screen is good, keyboard has added bonus of number pad too.

Worst part is the sound quality, not up to the usual high HP standards, very weak output even using the included SRS audio enhancements. Unusual for HP, one of the reasons for purchase was for music use and it simply isn't up to the job in this area.

If you're going to use for DVD or Music then because of the poor audio it's not a great choice.

I have since returned this item for the reasons above.
