Manufacturer's Description
The game the experts play for fun! Mashed is an isometric racing game that pits up to four players against each other in a gladiatorial racing battle extravaganza.
Using a plethora of weapons or just your driving skills unleash your fury, cause absolute carnage and send your friends to a humiliating defeat! And it's not over there! Unique to Mashed, defeated opponents will be able to sit back and target you or other remaining drivers with deadly missile air strikes. But whether they target the race leader or decide to enjoy some satisfying revenge is another matter entirely...
Customer Reviews
For mashed get trashed!
This is less a racing game than a tag game. Every time a car gets a screen length ahead the game stops a screen pops up giving the score and then then restarting the race. This makes for avery disjointed race, if you play this with four players, then it occurs every 5 seconds. Hardly fast flowing is it? The graphics are pretty ropey and the driving model poor. And to top it all of its a CD and the loading times are nauseatingly slow. Do not buy it. If you want a racing game try race driver 3.
Mashed One Of The Most Entertaining Games Ever!!!
My brother bought mashed about 1-2 years ago and it is increadable! After completing it on most games there would not be much to do but on this the 2 player arcade thing is amazing and so much fun.
If this game was going for £40 i would still buy it, it is just that good!
Great fun.
It would be very sad indeed to play mashed by yourself - it is a game to play with friends, but as such is one of the best.
You race little plasticky cars around (tackily unrealistic) tracks. GT this ain't.
However, the little five minute races are as addictive as anything - fist fights aplenty will result from prolonged multiplayer use, and overall this makes for a great fun little game.
(And it's great value for the money, esp. for a cheap preowned copy)
