Susie Dinan is the Senior Clinical Exercise Practitioner and a Research Fellow at the Department of Primary Care and Old Age Psychiatry, Royal Free Hospital and University College Medical School, London. Joan Bassey PhD is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Nottingham Medical School. She is a specialist in exercise for osteoporosis and a member of the Scientific Advisory Group of the National Osteoporosis Society.

Great format - easy to follow and understand
This book is fantastic if you are worried about osteoporosis and want to do something that will help prevent it. Its spiral format is great - you can stand it up and look at it while you're learning the exercises, and the explanations are easy to follow. I like the emphasis on safety and taking it easy, and the advice on everyday activities that might put a strain on my bones. Great book!
Great book, easy to use
This is a great book for anyone who has worries about osteoporosis and yet is not very strong! It is made so that it will stand up while you are doing your exercises and has flip pages, clear photos and good instructions. It also has alternative (in the chair) ways of accomplishing the exercises if you are not able to get on the floor. Highly recommended.
