Walking Made Easy4
This book gives a selection of walks ranging from the easy 3 miles to a slightly longer 10 miles. There are plenty to choose from and each walk includes directions and the relevant section of OS map onto which the route has been plotted. I have now done several of these walks and have yet to get lost!

Pathfinder delivers as usual4
I bought this as I was looking for a change from the Peak District. There's some interesting walks in here, and as ever with Pathfinder, the OS extracts make it very hard to get lost.

I only give this 4 as the book covers a huge area, whereas some of the other guides e.g. Peak District have more walks closer together. This is not the fault of Pathfinder of course (hard to compare the Peaks to the flatter surrounding areas!), but does limit the use I could get from the book.
