Changed slightly but still the best on the subject
This is still the best catalogue for the GB collector. It has changed slightly and the values shown still have the usual SG idiosyncracity of being 2-3 times the actual market value and not even being what Stanley Gibbons charge for the stamps (see handling charges). However, that beside it is a very useful and reliable book and essential for the serious GB collector.

Does exactly what it says on the cover. Easy to follow. Clear colour pictures of all stamps. Ideal for the collector who is looking for a bit more detail than that contained in the Stanley Gibbons 'Collect British Stamps' catalogue. Simple to order and very quick delivery. Very satisfied.

The best catalogue for UK
The Stanley Gibbons Great Britain Specialised Catalogue is the premier source for basic collecting of UK stamps. I use it all the time. It is much superior to the Scott catalogue in giving a more thorough attention to detail and contains a wealth of material not found in Scott. Another excellent feature of this catalogue is its colour reproductions of UK stamps, making it easier to identify issues found in kiloware mixtures. I heartily endorse this catalogue for the novice through intermediate collector of UK stamps. For a much greater in-depth treatment of UK stamps consult the Great Britain Specialised series of catalogues, also published by Stanley Gibbons.
