This box set is strictly for fans of ballroom dancing as it brings together six DVDs and six accompanying music CDs to introduce some of the most popular dances in the world. This unique box set showcases the CHA CHA, SALSA, WALTZ, FOXTROT, TANGO and SWING/JITTERBUG through instructional DVDs and CDs that can be used to accompany practice sessions. WALTZ- Triple twinkles, sweeping steps, rising limbs, graceful turns. Sound like fun? Then it's time to learn how to do the Waltz, a very popular and elegant dance. Guided by the detailed instruction of dance experts Donald Johnson and Kasia Kozak, you will learn the different elements that make up the Waltz. FOXTROT - A foundation for all other dances, the Foxtrot is a very popular dance that includes elements found in most other types of dancing. It is also the easiest dance to learn. With the careful instruction of Dance Vision's own Donald Johnson and Kasia Kozak, you will become a master of the Foxtrot, making your way across the dance floor with your partner in style. TANGO - Exotic rhythms. Swelling and sometimes syncopated music. Pent up passions. Sublime partnerships. Domination and submission. Such is the allure of the Tango. You too can join this mystical world by learning the basics of the dance that has charmed millions. SALSA: Seductive steps. Exotic beats. Passionate movements, and explosive turns. While this type of dance can include all kinds of steps and timings, Dance Visions Donald Johnson and Kasia Kozak teach a simplified salsa for beginners that still allows him or her to experience the wonderful, hot sensation of Salsa dancing. CHA CHA: Learn to master this cuddly, exciting Latin rhythm dance with the help of Dance Vision's Donald Johnson and Kasia Kozak. Carefully guiding you through the different elements that comprise the Cha Cha, you will soon be able to take this dance with you to any party, wedding, or any place playing a Latin beat. SWING/JITTERBUG: Born in the era of the Big band, this particular type of dance is usually quite difficult to master on account of the sheer speed of the music. But with step by step instruction Dance Visions Donald Johnson and Kasia Kozak, you will learn an easier way to dance to faster music.

Customer Reviews
Not an English Waltz
Was looking for English Waltz steps so ordered this DVD produced by an English company. Disappointed to find that it has 'Americanisms' such as 'triple twinkles' etc and so is of no help to me. The teaching on the DVD does however seem quite detailed and no doubt effective. If you want the American version of the waltz, then it is a great buy but if you want the basics of Engish ballroom, then it's not for you. Hopefully the other dances will be more helpful for me, but as yet I haven't delved that far.
Ballroom Dancing
I listened to part of this before I gave it to a couple who are really into learning ballroom dancing. I thoroughly enjoyed it and they have told me it is 'fabulous' and such a help to them and is a clear and enjoyable way of learning this art.
Good Tuition but not UK Dance Steps
This boxed set is good value for money if you prefer to learn to dance the American way. For example, in the Cha Cha having attended some lessons in England where a Man starts off by leading with his left foot forward you will find that these DVDs teach a man to start with he right foot going backwards. Confusing!
The 6 music CDs are good for practicing at home.
