Great - Not that great.
I had very high hopes for this figure following the earlier Alien warrior from AVP:R. However the only let down is the McFarlane level of articulation (ie not very articulated). The Alien warrior is highly articulated and this Hybrid Predator/Alien figure has only limited articulation, which is a let down. Although it may be that more articulation (could/would) detract from the excellent sculpt.

I must admit I didn't buy it for mega levels of articulation, but having it "locked" into one position is a bit boring after a while.

The sculpt on this figure is nothing short of amazing with all the twisted alien anatomy incredibly detailed. The clear dome with visible skull is a nice touch,reminescent of the HR giger Alien.Paint is amazing as well with a lighter pallete of tans and greys.As I have not seen AVPR I cannot say whenther or not it is accurate.Articulation is OK and the best joint is the ball-socket necK as it adds loads of personality.I love the sculpted pose and you can play with the arms to find a stance that suits you.The Hybrid CANNOT stand without the included base.However the base is small and does not detract from the look of the piece.Durability seems fine although i have not tested it. This for me-along with the masked Predator is the standout of the line.
