A good summary of the training processs and structure
A useful book to dip into for the new trainer.It has clear chapters headings and although not likely to read the book from cover to cover gives the gp a good reference to plan training a new registrar and also a source of ideas and educational/teaching theory.On a recent gp trainers course we all thought this book would be a useful reference source .
great starting point
I bought this in preparation for the GP trainers' course. It contains loads of useful discussion points and checklists and while it will never be a book to read from cover to cover contains good overviews of preparation for training, teaching ideas etc.
Invaluable and thought provoking start.
