Customer Reviews
Certainly a refresher
I have been working with Windows XP for the past 3 + years now and i have to say i know a lot about it. However these books have taught me more about windows XP than i previously knew before!
If you dont know anything about windows XP these books are not for you as you will not pass the MCDST exam just through reading these you will need to do more research. These are GREAT refreshers!!
Concise Revision Book
This book presents the information in a consice format which is useful for reference. The information goes a little bit deeper than the official Microsoft study books and in that way is useful when tackling practice exam questions.
My reason from buying this book was for the Measure-Up practice questions which are budled with the books on a CD Rom. I found this a little dissapointing though as there are only 50 questions. There quite a few questions from the book, it would be nice if these were also included on an interactive CD Rom.
Well written, but out of date now
Well written and friendly book. However, this was written back in 2004 and as such does not contain anything relating to Service Pack 2, so things are badly missing. I suggest you look elsewhere for a study aid if you want to pass this exam in 2008!
