If you do not love the game, buy it
Honestly, "Fallout 3" was too immense, too complicated. I was bored and sought easier pastures. I then bought "Fallout 3: The Official Strategy Guide" and it immediately brought some sense and meaning to my gaming experience, not to mention the book itself is immensely and beautifully crafted.
The five Add-ons have made this new guide necessary, and I can only repeat myself: 752 pages, and the letters generally being smaller it is even more immense. Every little detail is fully explained, even the book's design fits in perfectly with the game and expands the enjoyment. Here and there some passages and phrases have been rebuilt or adapted to the Add-ons, if there are corrections I have yet to discover them.

Dirt cheap, and soooooo much better than the usual online text-only walkthroughs. Enjoy.

If you love the game, buy it.
Wow, this is one thorough guide. The pull out map is a great addition. If you want to raise your skill points quickly you need to find as many of the skill books as possible and to do that you need this guide. It's great for finding those rare items too. In fact its good for finding anything. I like the way its set out you so you can play the game and glance at the guide for what you need. I needed it mainly for the exploration aspect, but it has full quest walkthroughs. And did I mention the bobbleheads? Part of fallout 3 is just wandering around and exploring, and this guide will complement that perfectly. A must buy.

The ultimate Fallout 3 guide
If you love Fallout 3 and have the GOTY edition buy this guide. It is HUGE and details pretty much absolutely everything in the game. There is just so much in the game that an awful lot of it gets missed and this guide, if used properly (don't just treat it as a walkthrough) will help you see more things and do more stuff.
