What nutritional advice to offer parents of young children? What foods are best when illness intrudes? Which complementary health measures to choose?
Although many parents and professionals steer children towards healthy eating, sometimes outside guidance is required. Where to turn to for informed advice?
An A-Z of Children's Health is a guide to health problems for babies, children and adolescents. Aimed at health professionals and parents alike, it covers underlying factors in each condition, symptoms, dietary advice, supplement suggestions and general tips and information. There is an extensive appendix with contacts for many useful organisations and suppliers, how to find a practitioner and further reading.
Current rising awareness of the impact of food on children's health will mean that this, the first book of its kind in the UK, will be an invaluable handbook.

Customer Reviews
A-Z childrens health
As a nutrition therapist I find this book very useful as a quick reference on treatment options. It's also good for specifying supplement dosage for children. It is a great alternative health book if you have children with very clear practical advise.
