Customer Reviews

Excellent detail - makes you impatient to be there5
What a wonderful book! Have never seen so much detail about walks, what to look out for whilst on them, how to get to the area by foot, public transport or car. Attention to detail is amazing, even ideas for places to picnic. The do's and don'ts section is very informative but sensible. An easy sized book to travel with - I shall keep it with me at all times!

Good but needs updating3
Like the others in the series, this is an excellent book, but this one is now sorely in need of thorough revision or updating. Even with the publisher's update service, the fact that five years have elapsed since the book was printed means that you will struggle to follow many of these walks on the ground - and because the only maps are diagramatic and route-specific, it is virtually impossible to get back onto a route once you have lost it. But the book is still worth the price, because there is nothing else that will get you off the tourist trail and out into the olive groves and countryside - the idea behind the book is sound, but you will curse it and praise it in equal measures until the publishers come up with an up-to-date new edition.
