Devon and Cornwall (DK Eye witness Guide)
This is a great guide to take out and about with you, with useful maps it's quick and easy to use. I'd recommend getting a DK eyewitness guide for every holiday wherever you go.
Great little book
We spent just a few days in Devon recently and this book was perfect for ideas of things to do and places to visit. Sure it would work for longer holidays too and ventures into Cornwall!
No substitute for a Rough Guide
I bought this for a week's holiday in Cornwall and it was the most recent book I could find.
I would usually go for the Rough Guide and I should have followed my instinct.
I don't want to be critical of this book because I'm sure that the authors did what they were asked to do. For me it's too brief and too basic - and as another reviewer has commented it gets repetitive
