Kate Petty is the author of a number of novelties and pop-up books, including the innovative The Great Grammar Book and The Wonderful World Book. She also writes teenage fiction. She has worked in publishing for many years and is currently involved in creating books for the Eden Project children's book list. When not in Cornwall, she works in a shed in her London garden.
