SketchUp outlined
Excellent book that fills in many of the gaps for someone self taught like myself. It's a pity that the illustrations are not in colour, and the layout is poor with the text on one page and the illustration that it refers to only visible when you turn over the page.
Generally the content is very good and I would recommend this book both as a learning tool and a reference book.

An excellent reference book
Being a novice to SketchUp, I found this book very useful as a means to learn the fundamentals. It is also proving to be a useful reference manual although not as in-depth as I would have liked.

For beginners
From the title - bible - I expected that this book would have all of the answers but it only skates the surface and does not provide the depth of technical information I was looking for in such a book. The book is for beginners - it would be more correctly titled "A beginners guide to SketchUp". Most of the information contained in the book can be found on the web.
