Best map available covering all of West Crete
This map (and its companion, covering the East, available separately) is the best one available for the island of Crete. It covers the entire west, divided in 2 parts, printed on the front and back side. At a scale of 1:100,000 it provides enough details for indepth route planning. I found this map rather accurate and it can even be used for basic mountain walks. For serious hiking though it is not suited. Nevertheless, I used it with great pleasure, both for my itineraries in West Crete and for armchair travelling.

Reliable map of Western Crete
We have known Crete for 15 years and operate a small holiday programme to the Apokoronou area of Western Crete. We would be lost without this map! We carry this around with us and tell our clients that this is the best map to use when visiting beautiful western crete.

Western Crete Map
The best map I have found of the area, but unfortunately the paper is of poor quality. After only a few very careful unfoldings, it started to tear at the creases.
