Synopsis
LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT follows NYPD detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) as they investigate the city’s most savage sex crimes. In the ninth season, the partners uncover a 14-year-old rapist, a serial killer who preys on college girls, and a violent ring of polygamists. Though the cases are grim, the intrepid officers, along with ADA Greylek (Michaela McManus), stop at nothing to bring each perpetrator to justice. This collection includes 19 engaging episodes, featuring guest stars Cynthia Nixon and Bill Pullman, and an incredible appearance by none other than Robin Williams.

SVU SEASON 9
The Ninth Season (2007-2008) of LAW & ORDER:SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT kicks off with a new addition to the main cast in the form of Detective Chester Lake (played by Adam Beach, who guest starred last season), and with the SVU squad still realing from the events of Season 8's finale.
All 19 episodes of Season 9 are jam-packed full of drama, emotion, and action. Despite a few dull episodes (which you find in every season of every tv series anyway), Season 9 includes some absolutely fantastic episodes, such as season premiere 'Alternate', 'Blinded', 'Signature', 'Undercover', 200th episode 'Authority', and season finale 'Cold'.
Overall, The Ninth Season of SVU is a great buy for fans of LAW & ORDER and newcomers alike!
