But the real fun lies in connecting the cubes and watching the stick figures interact, whether they climb into each others' cubes, play, pester or protect each other and each character has a multitude of objects which they can use in their interaction! Most pointless, but most brilliant gadgets ever!!
What is the point? I have no idea but they are still amazing!! I was bought some a couple of years ago as a gift, and at the time thought pretty much the same thing. My 6 year old found them, and plays with them non stop. For Christmas he has asked for some more to add to his collection - so a request for more has been put on the list for Father Christmas. The more you have the more they can interact with each other, so 2 are ok but 4 or more is better.

Good for kids, great as a fun/pointless/stupid gift for somone who is difficult to buy for.

These little cubes are great when all put together to interact. However they're not cheap when you have to buy all the set. The battery lasts for a long time which is good as they are a bit expensive to replace. Novelty does wear off after a while. These little critters are now gathering dust on a lost shelf!
