A stirring tribute to the greatest music to come out of Africa by its greatest stars. This is the best compilation of soukous, great dance music, exhilarating, so diverse and yet unmistakingly identifiable. Covering a period of the 60s to 1999, with the excellent Rough guide presentation, this cd and the Rough guide to Franco are the best of african music that just knock you out.
