Pro Cycling Manager/Tour de France 2007 invites you to take part of one of the biggest International Cycling Competitions. At the head of one of the 60 official teams available in the game, you will influence the tactics and strategies of your team during the 150 playable races in real time. As the sports manager, you will also have to manage your team, organise the signing of contracts, equipment, transfers, the schedule and training; all in a normal day's work of a professional team manager.

Not worth the effort
If you just want to play a cycling manager game then i advice against this one go for 2006 as it is no different and isnt full of bugs. You can buy this game but you wont be able to play it as it crashes during every race on 90% of computers. The company dont seem to have got their act together and must have rushed the launch due to the real tour de france coming around. My advice dont buy this product, its just not worth the hardship of making it work. Just enjoy watching cycling for now until something better emerges. Sorry Cyanide and Focus but noone should buy a faulty game

Great but buggy
If you are a cycling fan, this is a great game to play. I have owned every version since the original Cycling Manager and they tend to improve slightly each year.

Compared to last years version the graphics have been slightly improved and the management interface completely changed and updated. There are also some new features that you will either love or hate (e.g. riders have 'form of the day' / setting of rider roles and tactics in each race).

Although I think this game has great potential, upon release it is full of bugs and is unplayable past 2 or 3 races without rebooting your pc due to a memory leak issue. Whilst this should be fixed in a patch, this has not been released to date despite the game being out for 2 weeks now (other countries or buying direct).

If you download the patches and are willing to wait for things to be fixed this is a most enjoyable game that will bring cycling fans a lot of fun.

dont waste your money
you can only play two games then you have to reboot your computer because the virtual memory goes so low the game keeps pausing, takes ages to load and sometime crashes the computer. there's no point in releasing a game you cant play properly!
