Too much ground covered in too little depth
I was rather disappointed in this DVD. It attempts to cover too much ground and as a result imparts little useful information on any of the topics covered. I thought the section on Grayling fishing, which lasts for around only 3 minutes, was particularly poor. There isn't really anything in this DVD which you would not be able to obtain from the first couple of chapters in the average introduction to fly fishing book which you could get from the local library for free. I think the amount of footage given to salmon fishing on the Spey was pretty irrelevant given that 99.9% of anglers in the UK would never be able to afford to fish there. Overall a pretty unbalanced, superficial and not particularly helpful offering.
