Manufacturer's Description
ByteStor Secure Digital cards are manufactured to the highest standards using high quality components to ensure compatibility and reliability. A Hi-Speed SD card will maximise the potential of the latest digital devices. Can be use in any SD Compliant device
A Hi-Speed card is essential for high-mega pixel cameras. Spend less time waiting between shots, especially in fast moving scenes such as sport. Take longer movies at a higher quality, for smooth playback on your camcorder or digital camera. Read and save data faster on your PDA perfect for large applications.
Since the ByteStor Hi-Speed card is produced with industry standard technology compatibility and usage issues are dramatically reduced.
Shoot more pictures on holiday where downloading may be impractical. (If your memory card becomes full on holiday, you cannot re-use the card without downloading the current images first).
Capture more hi-resolution images. (Taking pictures on the highest setting will give you the option for larger prints compared to the normal or basic setting).
Take more multiple shots and select the best ones when practical. (It can sometimes be difficult and time consuming to delete unwanted shots from your camera on the move).
Spreading images across two or more cards in case a card is lost on holiday.
Save more data, games and images with your picture mobile phone
Carry a wider selection of music (at higher quality) for your MP3 player.

Useless
When using this card to transfer photos in the inbuilt card reader on my pc it continually crashes the program. I had to connect the camera via USB lead to retrieve the pics. Don't waste your money on this card look elsewhere.
No problems since August 2005
I purchased one of these cards at the same time as my Canon IXUS 700 camera back in August 2005, and have used both together with no problems since then.
It is fast enough to record 640x480 video clips at 30fps (the best the camera can do), and transferring 1Gb of files to the PC (via USB 2) takes about 2 minutes.
Completely unreliable
This card worked for my first 300 or so photos but then decided to give up the ghost. It became incredibly unreliable and only luck would dictate whether the camera would read it. A multitude of PC's and multiple card readers later, the photos were still locked on there. Then a friend's laptop internal reader could see it and everything was hastily copied before carefully formatting the card.
It still wouldn't be read either by my Canon Ixus 50 or any of the card readers I had access to except for this one laptop and, as it seems, my PDA where it now lives looking after non-crucial information which is safely backed up daily.
Wouldn't recommend it on my experience, especially with the low prices of SD cards these days.
