Great camera for the money.
I bought this camera for my wife to replace the Olympus digital camera that our 4-year old daughter dropped.

I won't give any sort of detailed review about the camera as I haven't really used it myself but the photographs that my wife has taken are really very good with great colours and detail. Close-up photos are particularly impressive with excellent detail and no blurring. In fact the photographs produced by this camera are more-or-less as good in terms of detail, focus and colour as those from my Canon Ixus 860 IS which cost nearly 3 times as much.

Nuff said really.

Good...while it lasts!!Buzzing noises???
Bought this little beauty in february 08...and it conked out last week.No actual reason, apparently, as I've only actually used it about 5 times.To be fair it worked without any bother, the picture quality is immense,charges easily(bang it on overnight and it lasts for a good time)and its small enough to take along anywhere, yet big enough not to lose.
Problem is: Having not used it for about 2 weeks(when it still operated as it should), I switched it on to find that the zoom-bit came out, made a few buzzing noises, then the cam,era switched itself off.With the zoom-bit still out.Have tried several batteries, which doesnt make a difference, and the thing just seems to be knackered.
Back to the shop tomoro, see what they say.Will update.

Rubbish Battery
Bought this camera about 2 months ago , only second time I tried to charge it and the red light keeps flashing on the charger. Left it over night still not charged ! Apart from that the camera is good.
