    Very good build quality4
I have just got the halo edition console, i cannot believe how quiet it is compared to my premium 360, despite long periods of using it the fans remain quiet compared to my older 360, the dvd drive is also quieter, I like the detail on the console very well done and the colour. On price point you could argue that the elite is better value for an extra £20 you get 100 gigs more space on the hardrive and a hdmi cable although the halo edition has a hdmi port microsoft only supply the component cable with it. Overall the halo edition is a much inproved console internally over the older premiums as this console has a much improved heatsink and fans and dvd drive and hdmi port

Great Console, Shame About The Noise5
I recently purchased this console 3 days ago and have been playing halo 3 non stop (actually completed the game in just a day) oops!

The console is great! I have been waiting to purchase a 360 all year, and thanks to the new 65mm chip, i was able to do that! The only thing is, its still far too noisy. When your not playing a game it runs crisp quiet and cool, but as soon as you stick your game in, the drive just goes in hyper mode and is extremely loud for my liking. Microsoft have seemed to fix the overheating and fan noise, but the dvd drive is still far too noisy! my friend has a premium and that is just ridiciously noisy all the time so i'd recommened the halo edition over the old premium just for the noise!

Dont let the noise put you off though, I'm use to very quiet (almost silent) machines such as my PC and Wii.

Bottom line. The Halo edition is stunning! Plus the 360 has wicked games out at the moment and looks set to beat Sony this time around. I also have a Wii which is another great machine if you already own a 360 since its great fun using the wii remote as a gun!

Only bad thing i can think of is the noise. Plus the 360 doesnt have built in wi-fi. Whats up with that? I would assume they would have added that to the Elite but its not the case. Just have to fork out £50 for it! The 20gb hard drive is a little small too also, because you only get around 13/14gb available!

For £280, you could expect a bit more i think, but still a great buy! Take a look at the ELITE version before you buy this since its better equiped.

Nice but the Elite ruins its chance3
Nice if you are a fan of Halo but the 120 GB Elite is about 20 quid more and kinda blows the reason for this away.

Only for the total fan boy I'm sure would have been great if they release Halo 3 in June before the Elite arrived. Now its like getting a car and saying I don't want the super sports deluxe version for an extra 20 quid I'll have last years model instead!
