Slight dip in form ...
Was looking forward to this release, I rate the Housexy series very highly. The previous compilations have been outstanding.
This is very good .. but not outstanding. There are no anthems on here, if you want the dance stuff you hear on the radio this is not for you. Unlike previous Housexy CD's, the selection is a touch on the bland side. Yes there are some cracking tunes here but just not as many as on previous releases. Freemasons feature heavily which is obviously a good thing, but the majority of the tunes just pass you by to be honest.
Still, this a good compilation, great packaging, mixing is spot on as per usual ... worth buying. Still miles better than the commercial rubbish flooding the shops!
