Product Description

With text by Pierce Brosnan, Sir Alan Bates and Kevin Bacon. Degrees is loosely based on the 'six degrees of separation' theory and the world-famous cinema game, The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Andy Gotts has had extraordinary access to the world's most famous faces. Over 100 A-list actors feature in this fascinating collection of images and anecdotes. Each actor suggests a friend or colleague as the next person and, therefore, starts a wonderful chain of 'who knows who' and provides a glimpse into the human side of film.

Customer Reviews

superb5
Having seen the exhibition at the Getty Images gallery, I can not stress enough how good this collection of photographs is. Based loosely on the game 'the six degrees of Kevin Bacon' the photos show the models in a very genuine light, capturing the essence of who these people are beautifully.

I thoroughly recommend that you purchase this book, and if possible manage to get to see the exhibition live - at the Getty Images gallery behind Oxford Street until mid-November I think.

Amazing Book5
This is an amazing book and I am so happy I bought it. I had no idea what to expect when I ordered it but it is full with beautiful portaits of EVERYONE who is ANYONE. They duotone quality is of superb quality too. And if all this was not good enough, also money from the book goes to diabetic research!

beautiful book photographed by a thoroughly nice guy5
I happen to know Andy as a client where I work. He gave me a copy of this book when it was first published. 5 years later, I'm still amazed at all these 'A' listers being prepared to be photographed eau naturel. I'm sure its because he's such a nice guy. Andy's told me lots of stories behind the photos, but even without the stories, theyre still a sight to behold. Buy it for your coffee table, your guests will come back for more.
