Synopsis
After a long absence, Gabriel is a preacher who returns to Middletown; a place of his birth but a town that has changed greatly during the intervening years. His sister-in-law runs the local drinking establishment, a rough and ready den that boasts live cockfights and brawling, on a nightly basis. Gabriel believes that the entire township has give-in to sin and it’s up to him to save their troubled souls. But Gabriel however, is not all that he seems, and his arrival brings disarray into the lives of those he meets; will his undying fundamentalism be the answer to society’s ills?

Probably the most boring film I have ever watched
Watching this film was like waiting for a meal when you are starving and being served up a measly portion of prison slops. The only emotion it stirred in me was anger that I had wasted 80 minutes of my life- voluntarily. Give it a miss.
