An excellent book for hikers and visitors to Dartmoor
There are 30 walks listed, each with a 'level of difficulty' indication and several pages of information about the area you are walking through and things to look out for. Each walk also has an 'at a glance' information page covering basic information such as start/finish points, length of walk, approximate time and advice etc. There is a good introduction which covers the history of the moor, information about the MOD firing ranges, local transport and weather information.
An excellent book for the Dartmoor visitor.
