Collins Complete Plumbing & Central Heating2
This book doesn't quite give the information I bought it for - my own fault maybe! Certainly, it is NOT the complete plumbing & central heating guide.

It doesn't tell you how to install central heating, and should only be seen as a basic guide to the world of plumbing. If you are looking to save yourself a few quid on the odd-jobs around the house, maybe this is your book. However, if you want to tackle a bigger project, look at other sources of information.

Seems Famililar3
After already using Collins Complete DIY manual for the past few years I had high hopes for this revamped book in the planning of my central heating system. Instead I found the plumbing section from the DIY manual stuck in a new cover with a few extra bits on underfloor and solar heating:(
As a reviewer of the previous version said Wickes leaflets are far more use to help you install central heating and you can download them now as well.

slightly misleading3
This is a very good book for tackling the everyday problems you can encounter with home plumbing. Unfortunately, if your after information on installing your own central heating system, there's not enough info on on the pipe layout and planning etc. but overall this is a handy book to have around the house.
