Average customer review:Product Description
We Are Everywhere is a whirlwind collection of writings, images and ideas for direct action by people on the frontlines of the global anticapitalist movement. This is a movement of untold stories, because those from below are not those who get to write history, even though we are the ones making it. We Are Everywhere wrenches our history from the grasp of the powerful and returns it to the streets, fields and neighbourhoods where it was made.

"This is the first book to truly capture and embody the exuberant creativity and radical intellect of the protest movements." - Naomi Klein, from the foreword "This book is essential reading for anyone who cares about our future, and weighs enough to throw at anyone who doesn't." - The Independent on Sunday "This isn't a book it's a brick with which to shatter cynicism." - Luther Blissett "An authentic document of revolution" - The Times
Customer Reviews
The most imaginative and inspiring book around
This book really gets to the bones of the anti-capitalist movement, it describes actions and groups you won't have heard of and shows how this massive network is linked in ideas and desires.
If you are to buy one book this year get this one, with hundreds of photos and short texts that are at once intelectual and clear, humourous and imaginative.
If you are interested in politics at any level this will both inform and open new ground for investigation. It will get you back out on the streets remembering why you want this whole sorry world to change.
Truly authentic
This is the first truly authentic document of the anti-capitalist movement. It is edited, written and compiled by activists who are integrally involved, and it shows. In turns inspiring, educative and full of rage, everyone on _earth_ should read this book.
How a book can change your life and the world
Ive rarely held a book in my hands that has provided so much inspiration. Reading stories of people struggling against globalisation from every continent filled me with a renewed sense of hope and a firm belief that we really are living in revolutionary times, times which will see the end of the system as we know it and the begginings of a new way of living for all of us.
'words are our weapons'said the zapatistas, the poetic guerillas of chiapas who kick started the global rebellion against neoliberlaism, well this book shows that words can drown out the clamor of capitalism with the most beautiful of sounds. The stories in this book made me laugh, cry, shout with anger and at one point even throw the book at the wall ( the book is beautifully presented, landscape format, with hundreds of photos, infact it feels more like a brick than a book to handle ) Rarely do we hear the voices of those on the streets, the Thai peasants blockading a mega dam, British Reclaim teh streets activists invading teh City of London, South African communities fightingprivatisation of their public services, the Argentinian workers occupying their factories..all woventogether to inspire an irresistable rebellion..
