Jack Keane is presented in an enthralling atmosphere with masses of well-elaborated characters, plenty of cinematic cut scenes with many funny allusions to famous movies, video and computer games. Jack Keane is completely designed in 3-D and still maintains a classic adventure atmosphere

The story starts in London, where Jack is chased by professional thugs. While escaping, he gets assigned by the queen to go the island of the evil "Doctor T.". On the way to the island, Jack meets his dream girl Armanda and together they slowly discover the plans of the evil "Doctor" and his carnivorous plants.

Will they manage to cross his plans and finally save the world?

I love playing this game..it's fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.4
There are two types of game, one for the serious player that demands what they want and when they want it and a second which is just fun and for the non hardcore player. Some games slip into both camps and please everybody, but this is rare!

Jack Keane made me laugh and i enjoy playing it. I say playing it, as I have not finshed it yet as i only play for an hour or so at a time and want my time playing games at the computer to be enjoyable.

The graphics are great, the storyline is silly, but hey that makes it all the more funny in my view! the puzzles are not too hard and gives me just enough of a challenge to not drive me crazy!

All in all, a love this game. I read a few reviews for gaming mags and they all tend to agree, giving Jack Keane 7 or 8 out of 10.

Im a seasoned adventurer5
First things first, I never write a review...ever! In fact I've only done this as a thank you to the people who built and bought this game to market, because its an old school good point n click.
Here's the lowdown on this game and bear in mind, I've played a lot of Adventure games ever since I first picked up Monkey Island. If you liked the Monkey Island series of games, It takes a big dollop from there. Then add a big dollop of `Ankh' only improved....a lot.
Some people have moaned about hammy voice acting, but Its not that hammy and it fits, the whole game is a little tongue in cheek and jolly good fun. The graphics are lovely, the puzzles are logical and the 3D is well done. In game span terms It's a good long satisfying romp and I enjoyed it with a few chuckles along the way. I think you will enjoy playing this... hope my review helps!

Waste of money! Just plain bad!1
I was brought this game, as a friend knew I enjoyed adventure games (like Monkey Island & Myst)and thought this might appeal.

Firstly the good things. Well the graphics are well polished....that's about it.

I managed to last about 5 minutes before I uninstalled it!

This game is trying too hard to be "Monkey Island" but lacks any witty dialogue. The gamplay is simple and leaves very little for you to figure out, very linear.

This I could all put up with if it wasn't for the absolutely appauling voice acting and storyline.

The dilogue is slow....I.....mean....realy...slow. It's as though they're trying to communicate with non-english speakers. The other gripe with the voice acting is that the main characters are supposed to be from London but are so obviously Americans trying to do very bad english accents...and very stereotyped...innit geeza!

The story line is beyond stupid and leaves you with no will to continue the game. There is no depth to it...

I imagine the storyboard meeting went something like this...."We've got a story based around English characters....and a really evil dude who's doing something bad...but what?"....(many doughnuts later, I can stereotype as well)...."Got it...He's destroying all the TEA in the world!".

I'm not joking...thats the storyline! I thought maybe I made a mistake and the game was for little kids, alas no it has a rating of ages 12+.

So my advise is don't even think of buying this game...If you really like the sound of an "Ol'Piratey Point-and-click" then try any of the "Monkey Island" series. They're a guaranteed laugh a minute, they're also cheaper.

It realy scares me that people where paid to make this game. I hope it wasn't the writers day job.

(PS: I don't usually write reviews for games but this one has mentally disturbed me so much, I felt the need to comment.)
